Role Overview

We are seeking a Django Frontend - UI/UX Engineer who is as much a designer as they are a developer. You will be responsible for the end-to-end user experience—from conceptualizing intuitive layouts to implementing them directly into Django templates.

The ideal candidate must ensure that every design is highly optimized for Desktop, Mobile Browsers, and PWA (Progressive Web App) environments, providing a seamless and "app-like" experience across all devices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Conceptualization: Independently come up with modern designs, wireframes, and intuitive layouts that solve complex user flows.

• Django Implementation: Directly implement and maintain frontends using Django Templates, HTML, and CSS.

• Multi-Platform Optimization: Ensure all interfaces are fully responsive and specifically optimized for Desktop browsers, Mobile browsers, and PWA mobile applications.

• Frontend Logic: Build backend-integrated logic using Django views, models, forms, and URL routing.

• Security: Apply web security best practices (Authentication, CSRF protection, and input validation).

• Performance: Debug and optimize application performance, focusing on fast loading times for mobile users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Design Proficiency: Strong ability to create original designs and intuitive user journeys (Figma/Adobe XD experience is a plus).

• Technical Stack: Expert knowledge of Django and Django Templates is mandatory.

• Core Web: High proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

• PWA Expertise: Understanding of PWA requirements (manifest files, service workers, and mobile-first responsiveness).

• DevOps: Hands-on experience with Docker and deploying/operating applications on AWS.

• Version Control: Experience with Git and collaborative workflows.

Work Samples Requirement

Applicants must showcase a portfolio that demonstrates:

• Design to Code: Examples where you moved from a design concept/layout to a functional Django-based frontend.

• Responsive Execution: Projects showing a seamless transition between Desktop and PWA/Mobile layouts.

• Technical Breadth: GitHub repositories or live links showing clean, maintainable Django template code.
